Bob Thaden
Bob started making wine in 1968, never dreaming he’d eventually open and run a vineyard and winery. But that started in 2005 with the planting of the first hybrid grapes, and continued in 2009 with the construction of the winery. Sort of retired from pastoring small United Church of Christ churches, he now follows his life-long passion and loves every minute of it.

Marilyn
FounderMarilyn is a retired speech pathologist and a lifelong gardener whose . While she manages the tasting room with a welcoming smile, her work extends deep into the vineyard, where she provides vital support to the vines. A woman of many talents, Marilyn is also an accomplished musician and an excellent chef. Whether she is harmonizing a melody or perfecting a seasonal pairing, her creative spirit ensures that every guest’s visit is as flavorful and rhythmic as the wines themselves.
Dustin and Hannah Strong, owners of Otium Brewing in Miles City, moved to the property and began working parttime for the winery in June 2024.
They are both vineyard and winery apprentices and add a lot to our staff in terms of youth, business smarts and enthusiasm. Hannah is the manager of our new wine clubs.

Enrique (Pipo) Sanz
Enrique is a crazy Argentinian that we met during his internship in 2022. Since then we have had a wonderful relationship. Enrique has a Bachelor’s degree in winemaking. We hope he will be back with us in late 2026.
